New Job

So Im sure some are wondering how the infamous first week at the new job went. Well I survived the first week, and it was a bit of a reality shock, I feel like i know NOTHING. Things are done SOOOOO diffrent at this hospital and thats what Im having the hardest time with, diffrent policies, diffrent equipment, diffrent culture... everything. It will just take time to learn and adjust, but the unit is so much bigger and everyone has been really nice and I have seen and experienced so much in just the three days ive been there I can only imagine the things ill see and experience in the months and years to come. I have an Awesome preceptor, shes so knowledgeable and easy to get along with I think she is really going to help me to adjust and become a part of the team.

Im also very relieved to know that traffic is not bad at all working night shift im going the opposite way of the traffic, such a blessing, I couldnt imagine having to leave my house 2 hours early to get to work on time as I did when i was having to be at the hospital by 8 am for orientation, that just wouldnt do.
