Embarrassing moment #459849

So, I have a sick obsession with online shopping, but the other day my purchases actually proved worth while and not frivolous....

On Friday I finally had a chance to go to the pool, usually on my days off its cloudy or rainy, I don't know why but it seems to be good weather only when I have to work, so I took full advantage and went to the pool. Luckily when I got there I was in a spot where no one could see me, there were some other girls at the pool but they were on the other side of this big sitting area so they couldnt see me.

I sit down and start putting on my tanning oil blah blah blah I lean back to start reading my book and suddenly feel a cool breeze where there shouldn't be...my top popped off completely!! I freaked out and covered myself and looked around to see if anyone saw but I dont think anyone did but here I am trying to reattach my clasp only to realize it is completely broken!! I try to put my swimsuit cover on one handed so as not to flash anyone that may be looking out their apartment windows or anything and run upstairs to change.  During which time I couldnt stop laughing and Im sure everyone I passed thought I was crazy or possessed or something.

While trying to make a decision on what to wear I realize my swimsuit collection is in dire need of an upgrade...I havent purchased a swimsuit in about 4 years and the one I had actually bought last year was the one that broke.  Two of them were free swimsuits that were being given away by American Eagle during spring break 4 years ago, one was the swimsuit I bought 4 years ago for that spring break, and the last one I honestly dont know how old it was but it gives me a uniboob soooo yeah it has to go. Not to mention they all are kind of saggy in the bum and really not extremely flattering anymore.

Which leads me to my recent online purchase...I get the JCrew catalog in the mail and always browse through then throw it away.  Well after receiving the same catalog four times and seeing the same swimsuits which I love I decided it was a sign and I needed to go online a see what I could find.

I found this:

Which should be here next week, this one is in black

I also found this:

which is going to bein the color shown and wont be here until august...but around here I should be able to wear it through September and some of October.

SO I was really glad I bought these because after my swimsuit mishap I realized I really do need some new swimsuits to wear

I would have absolutely died of embarrassment! The new swimsuit is super cute though!

I'm Katie a 27 year old mommy and wife. Welcome to my blog where I will chronicle the happenings of my life as I find the balance between being both SAHM by day and CVICU nurse by night.

I love Jesus and strive to be more like Christ every day. Running, reading, and cooking are some of my favorite past-times. I love photography but I am no pro, but it helps I have such a cute subject to practice on!!
