1st Haircut

On Saturday Feb 4, 2012 we took L to get his first haircut! We knew it needed done for quite some time but just could never bring ourselves to actually do it.  FInally on saturday I felt bad for him always having to look through a curtain of hair and I was tired of wiping it out of his eyes, we had some time to kill before the furniture store opened and this kids haircut place was there and open so in we went.

They were very nice and the lady doing the cutting was great with L, she was quick and able to work around his erratic head movements, he actually has a pretty even haircut despite how much hair he needed cut and how much he was moving.  It took her a little while because he had so much hair so he started to get a little restless towards the end but in all he did fantastic!

He looks so cute with his new do, but he looks so old, not like a little baby anymore :(

The place had these little TV's and cute smocks to distract the kiddos, they also had bubbles but she couldn't find them, I think L would have liked the bubbles, he even got a cute little prize for being such a big boy!

K, he looks adorable! And so happy.

Where did y'all end up taking him? We went to snip-its and I think we'd have to go there again. Our kiddo needs distractions!

Hope to see y'all soon. I sent you a twitter post about a date I think.

he is truly so so cute! It always amazes me how these hair dresser's can cut these kids hair so smoothly with them flailing around. Scares me to death. He looks very handsome!

I'm Katie a 27 year old mommy and wife. Welcome to my blog where I will chronicle the happenings of my life as I find the balance between being both SAHM by day and CVICU nurse by night.

I love Jesus and strive to be more like Christ every day. Running, reading, and cooking are some of my favorite past-times. I love photography but I am no pro, but it helps I have such a cute subject to practice on!!
