Sayonarah 2012

**Warning Picture Overload**

I can not believe that 2012 has come to a close already.  This year has not been particularly good or bad just another run of the mill year really.

We started the year with L turning 8 months old, he started to say mama and already had 7 or 8 teeth, he also got his first hair cut!

Hi first haircut! I think in 2012 he had about 6 or 7!! The boy has some hair and it grows crazy fast!!!
Love this picture of my sweet boy in his jammies

L started crawling in March at about 10 months old and has never stopped moving since!!

We celebrated L's first easter which was so fun, Easter is one of my favorite holidays and I love that I can now share it with my lil guy

I went to Myrtle Beach for our annual girls trip/race with my mom and gram to do the Diva Half Marathon
In May, our lil man turned 1 we had a baseball party and he had so much fun!! Our family and close friends in town were able to come help us celebrate!

L had his first visit to the beach, even if it was Galveston, we had fun playing in the sand and water nonetheless!!
L got so many teeth so early we started brushing at an early age!!

L and his twin cousin, they look so much alike its crazy, L's cousin L turned 2 this year and we went to San Antonio to celebrate at his Dr. Seuss Birthday party

I was able to attend a shower for one of my college friends and sorority sisters
L decided he can eat at the table like a big boy

We took L to his and my first college football game and had so much fun!!

L got to celebrate Fall with playgroups, pumpkin patches and horse rides!

Hubby's family came in town for Thanksgiving and L had so so so much fun playing with his cousins!!!

Like I said, this year was not super eventful but I count my blessings daily.  I like the saying no news is good news! I am so blessed to have a family in good health a home and a job that I love, a husband who spends time with our son and helps out around the house.  I am so blessed that L can have a relationship with his grandparents and his great grandparents, and that they are willing and able to be involved in his life too!

I hope and pray 2013 is as good to us as 2012 if not better!! I fear what bad things may happen but have faith that whatever those trials are God will get us through and will not put us through anything we can not handle!

I have great anticipation for the fun, exciting and good things that are hopefully to come, the people I will get to meet and the time that I will be able to spend with family! Each day is not a promise and time is so fleeting, this has not been more true than in recent times and it has made me even more aware and willing to be present in every moment as if it were my last!!

I'm Katie a 27 year old mommy and wife. Welcome to my blog where I will chronicle the happenings of my life as I find the balance between being both SAHM by day and CVICU nurse by night.

I love Jesus and strive to be more like Christ every day. Running, reading, and cooking are some of my favorite past-times. I love photography but I am no pro, but it helps I have such a cute subject to practice on!!
